David L. Romero, Registered Patent & Trademark Lawyer, Corporate Attorney and Real Estate Agent

David Romero is an attorney representing clients all across the west coast. He is licensed to practice law in all California courts, as well as the Federal District of Southern California, and he is registered to practice before the United States Patent Office. 

Prior to his career in law, David was dedicated to working in the field of cancer research. After obtaining his bachelor's degree in Chemistry at the University of New Mexico, Mr. Romero was granted a National Institutes of Health grant to study at the UNM School of Medicine, Toxicology graduate program.  He subsequently went on to receive his Master's degree in the program concentrating his research in the area of Drug Pharmacology and Immunology.     

Following a 15-year career as a Drug Development Scientist, Mr. Romero attended law school and was admitted to practice in California as a Patent Attorney in 2004.  Mr. Romero began his legal career as a Patent Prosecutor with the law firms of DLA Piper and McDermott, Will and Emery. He then expanded his practice to include trademark prosecution, dispute resolution, licensing, copyrights and litigation.

Mr. Romero has successfully prosecuted hundreds of patent and trademark applications and has extensive experience in resolving disputes related to patent and trademark infringement. His intellectual Property experience also includes advising clients on licensing and assignment matters.  

When Mr. Romero isn't practicing law, he can be found spending time with his three children: Ryan, Lauren and Jeremy, and their German shepherd, Rex.
